The KNA AP-2 Pickup with Volume Control

The AP-2 pickup from KNA brings piezo technology to the surface of any acoustic instrument. An adjustable potentiometer is built in to the AP-2, allowing the performer the convenience of adjusting volume from the stage. The AP-2's lightweight tone wood construction facilitates the widest possible frequency response in a surface mount pickup and blends visually with high quality instruments. The KNA AP-2 comes complete with a detachable cable, allowing the device to remain installed between performances. Like all products from KNA, the AP-2 is handcrafted in Europe. Los Angeles session ace Mat Gurman has worked with a diverse range of artists including Lisa Loeb, BB King and Deepak Chopra. Mat made several appearances with the Tonight Show band and can be seen in his popular Starlicks instructional videos. His solo records include ‘Journey to the Center of the Groove’, ‘Illuminating Contradictions’, and ‘American Boy’. Mat is the principal guitarist for the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony.
