Features
Active design
The built-in preamplifier reduces noise and eliminates string grounding. The pre-amp also boosts the tone and delivers clear, true steel-string guitar sound. The pickup requires 2 CR2032 batteries for operation.

Instructions
Follow our installation guide through the following steps:
Install the two CR2032 batteries into HP-1A by sliding them “+” side up under the metal clip at the bottom of the pickup. This is needed for operation.
Loosen the strings of your guitar. The strings should be loose enough over the soundhole that you’ll have ample room to insert the pickup.
Position the pickup into the soundhole using the two side slots. Move up to the neck side, positioned below the end of the fingerboard. Using a Philips screwdriver, gently tighten the mounting screws until the pickup sits securely in the soundhole. Make sure not to over-tighten, as the screws can strip or the finish of the guitar could be damaged.
With your volume off, plug the cable with the 1/8″ connector into your pickup and the 1/4″ connector into your favorite high-impedance amplifier. You are ready to play.
