Georgi Petrov

Georgi Petrov developed his reputation as an electic guitarist, a session musician and a strong leader on the New Orleans music scene for almost 10 years. He has extensively toured the US, Canada and Europe with Maggie Koerner, Taylor Smith and the Roamin' Jasmine, Panorama Jazz Band and Brad Webb’s Making Faces. Following his debut album Lost Originals in 2011, Georgi presented his jazz suite, the Physics of Sorrow, based on world-renowned Bulgarian writer Georgi Gospodinov’s book. Georgi released his latest album Alien of Extraordinary Abilities in 2019 and is working on a solo guitar album. Georgi currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah.
